Our Story

From Field to Table

Leo DeVries spent much of his early years working on a fruit farm. It was his dream to someday have a farm of his own.

In 1984, that dream came true when Leo and his wife, Margaret, bought a farm. It consisted of two acres of pear trees, four acres of overgrown apple trees, and the rest was open ground.

On Saturdays from May to October, we are at Niagara Falls and Port Colborne farmers’ markets.

Fresh fruit and were very accommodating when I got hurt, i had a back spasm in mere moments of picking strawberry. I asked to be brought back up as i could barely walk.. The young girl brought me a ice pack and the young man in the golf cart asked if I needed anything. I said no, the ice pack was very good, later in the week i encountered him again at the Farmer Market in Niagara Falls. DeVries has very kind and helpful people. ❤️🍓

My family and I went to this strawberry picking and our first time to come to this place and we’re really impressed how organized,net and the strawberry 🍓 isn’t smash and lots of option to pick, we enjoyed picking it up and they’ve flag to use where you left off which is very helpful for others and there are people to guide you where supposed to be you can pick the strawberry 🍓. Even the parking area they have people to guide you and they have a designated parking spot for people who can go for pick your own strawberry. Lots of options for plants and flowers as well as the bakery shop, we really recommend this place to come and visit and we are looking forward for the upcoming more picking in the near future, great job and keep up the awesome work and continue to do an amazing job!

Silly me, this has been within a 15 minute drive from me for 7 years and I'm just discovering it now?! Stopped in for a flat strawberries 🍓 and wow, this place is going to be my new favorite spot to shop. I've wanted a place like this, glad I found it. Next time I will check out the greenhouse 💚🏠.
