Strawberries & Ice Cream Fundraiser

On Saturday, June 21, DeVries Fruit Farm will host a special Strawberries & Ice Cream Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities South Central Ontario.

The fundraiser is being held in support of the Blizniouk family—Mary and Taras, along with their daughters Eva and Elizabeth. Their two-year-old daughter Elizabeth has been diagnosed with cancer, and the family is currently staying at Ronald McDonald House while she receives treatment at McMaster Children’s Hospital.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provides accommodations, meals, and support services to families with seriously ill children, helping them stay close during times of medical crisis.

Community members are invited to come out, enjoy a sweet treat, and show their support for a local family and this vital organization.
